Owner + Artistic Director

Hi! My name is Cassie Daley and I'm so excited you're here! If you don't know me, here's the scoop: I have been dancing for over 30 years and teaching dance for 24 years. I started dancing at a small town studio and loved every minute of it. I began teaching my own classes as a teenager and discovered that not only did I have a deep love of dance, but that I also had a gift of connecting with students and inspiring people of all ages.

In 2006 I graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance with an emphasis on teaching + choreography. In my lifetime, I've taught at numerous private studios, been invited to teach master classes at colleges, performed with a modern dance company, directed a non-profit dance company, spent time in public schools teaching to kids of all ages and choreographed musicals for local youth theater programs.

I invite everyone to please join us for a class at Omni Dance Academy. What makes our studio unique is the great time that dancers have in class, the quality time they'll spend with an educated dance professional who has their best interests at heart and the genuine environment where we are all family, connected by our love of dance.

Kelly Forte: Studio Manager

Kelly grew up dancing in tap, jazz + ballet. She had been spending her time as a stay-at-home mom, then had the opportunity to work as a nanny and is now the gal we all know and love who manages so many of our communications + operations at the studio! Kelly is our studio manager who handles new client inquires, schedules trial classes, as well as handles current client relations such as scheduling makeup classes + answering all our studio families’ questions. We are so lucky to have her!

(And fun fact: Cassie + Kelly are SISTERS!)

Melissa Barawed: Office Staff

Melissa has been a part of the studio for many years and we liked hangin’ out with her so much, we asked her to work for us! She has that special ODA family vibe and we love how she makes everyone feel welcome at the studio. If you get an email that’s not from Kelly, you’re probably talking with Melissa!

(And fun fact: both Melissa’s kids are ODA Competitive Company dancers!)

Miss Christa: Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Tiny Dancers

Christa is from the bay area + has always loved dancing. She has trained in many styles, but hip hop is her favorite! She has worked at dance studios, summer camps + youth groups because along with her love of dance, she is passionate about working with children. Christa still works as a nanny on her days off from the studio. Her experience and knowledge with both dance + children make Christa an amazing addition to the Omni family + we are so happy to have her! She recently earned her Associates Degree in Dance from Santa Rosa Junior College.

Miss Mara: pom, acro, tiny tumblers, tiny dancers

Mara came to us as a new Vacavillian and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her all the way from Texas! While in Texas, Mara worked as head coach with competitive cheer athletes and loved every aspect from the cheering, to the dance, to the tumbling. We love how her warm personality and her talents make her an amazing asset to ODA.

Miss McKenna: Jazz, Ballet, Tiny Dancers, Company

Mckenna danced locally for 13 years at a dance studio, studying ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop + pom. She danced competitively for 7 years out of the 13 and was also the captain of her high school dance team. In addition to teaching at ODA, she also currently coaches the dance team at Dixon High School. Lastly, McKenna is studying early childhood education. Her passion for dance and working with youth brings something very special to ODA.

Miss Jessica: tiny dancers

Jessica danced in Napa and has a well rounded history with experience in jazz, gymnastics + cheer. She has a passion for movement and loves teaching little ones! In fact, Miss Jessica works in childcare as a preschool teacher. The combination of dance experience, being a mom and working with young kids makes her unstoppable as an instructor at ODA!

Miss Izzy: ODA Competitive Company

Izzy grew up dancing in Southern California and has experience in jazz, hip hop, pom, contemporary, ballet, pointe, tap + musical theater. She is a student at UC Davis working on her undergraduate degree and is proud to be part of the UC Davis dance team! Izzy us currently working with the ODA Competitive Company with specialty numbers + the mini company.

what people are saying

you’ve heard what we’ve had to say, now see why parents AND dancers are loving ODA!

“We love Omni Dance Academy! After searching and searching we have found our dance home. Instruction is taught in a joy filled, disciplined structure where the focus is on the fundamentals of dance technique while instilling the delight of dance in their students. Our daughter has gained confidence, core strength and has been challenged to grow in her technique in all areas of dance. She looks forward to her dance days with excitement and loves that she can dance year round! If you are looking for a studio that will teach grace, poise and confidence, ODA is the place for you.”

~Sara D.

“We love Cassie and Omni Dance Academy! Not only did my preschooler enjoy the energetic tap/dance class but she also learned a ton about dance. Cassie treats each child with the unique potential to learn dance technique and the names for the skills all while having tons of fun. My 4 year old came home showing me what a tendu, elevé, and plié were. I was completely blown away!!”

~Jeanine H.

“My daughter would try an array activities, and she would always do well. However, none of them kept her interest. She always expressed a love of contemporary dance and make up her own dance routines. When we came across Omni Dance Academy, and she was able to start jazz and contemporary soon after, she immediately wanted to sign up. Not only is she having fun and learning, she wanted to go back in the fall! This is huge for us! We are so happy to have found Omni Dance Academy as our home. We look forward to more dancing and more fun!”

~Kristin P.

“Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, I've been impressed on a weekly basis by the dedication, communication, and functionality of Omni Dance Academy, it's dance instructors, and staff.  My daughters, one being a preteen and the other a teenager, take the Hip-Hop dance class and this was not only their first year being in a formal dance class, but in a recital as well.  Cassie literally danced her heart out, going above and beyond, to provide virtual dance classes for all of the students and eventually she re-opened under the Governor's rules/regulations.  It's one thing to follow governmental mandates, but a whole other ball game to do it with a genuine smile and optimism.  And that is what Cassie did!  Not to mention, she organized an OUTDOOR dance recital in the studio parking lot so the dancers could still perform in 2020!  My girls not only squashed their nervousness and performed well, but they even wanted to perform again immediately afterwards.  That's a testament to the atmosphere that Cassie has created at Omni!”

~Meryl S.
